Planning of Housing of Social Interest. Real Academy of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark for 4 months. The course included the Central American experience Housing of Social Interest, four weeks in San Jose, Costa Rica and one week in El Salvador. The focus was on the ways of social organization to resolve the housing problem in 1994.

A. Planning of total development
- Local Development Plans: Preparation of plans of Local Development for three pilot communities in San Francisco El Tumbo, Sayaxche, Peten; Cimientos de la Esperanza, Ixcan, Quiche and Bloque San Fernando, Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, Alta Verapaz. May-July 1997. Including the identification and prioritization of projects with community participation and the local plan validation.
- Coordination of the total development strategy for the returning people, from where the projects are derived with global vision so the community can pass from one state of emergency to a state of sustainable development. July 1997- September 1997.
- Development of the Sustainable Development Program of the communities from the Guatemala-Mexico border, with financing from the Central American Bank of Economic Integration (BCIE) July – October 1998.
B. Territorial organization and risk management of disasters
- Consultant for the World Bank supporting the Project for the Reduction of Vulnerability and Risk of Natural Disasters in Nicaragua, emphasizing on Municipal strength for Risk Management, urban zonification and territorial organization, January 2001 to present.
- Consultant for the World Bank in the preparation on the Vulnerability and Natural Disasters Project for Nicaragua, including field work in Nicaragua and preparation meetings in Washington, D.C. October – December 2000
- Consultor for the World Bank for the support of the Reduction of Vulnerability and Natural Disaster Risk in Honduras, emphasizing on Municipal strength for Risk Management, urban zonification and territorial organization, February 2002-2006.
